The Wisdom of Post-Its
While cleaning out some office files I happened upon some post-its that I've been carrying around from file to file since 1999 (I remember exactly where I was when I wrote them!). Miraculously they're all still together and amazingly, the message still gives me chills. I wrote it when I was desperate to escape Corporate America, envisioning the kind of life I wanted for myself. Looking back, I'm thankful that I was intuitive enough to really understand what my soul was yearning for. What a great check-in, 12 years later!

Please enjoy and feel free to pass along & share...
stand tall and strong
hold fast to my convictions
be good to the people who are good to me
...don't run after those that aren't
Listen to my words. Practice what I preach.
exude all the qualities I seek in others. Be my own example.
Smile a lot, dance even more!
Hold my face towards the sun.
Believe. Dream massively-have nothing to lose!
Buy watercolors and go mad! Be silly-
giggle at yourself. Hug more, say I love you at least once a day,
if not to someone else,
say it to YOU!
Be not afraid to stand in front of the mirror naked
Do not doubt. Do not gossip. Do not regret.
Hold yourself in a bright light.
Hold your loved ones in that same bright light.
You'll soon discover that the world is not so big that way.
Take chances.
Make a list of all the things you said you'd never do
and one by one, begin to do them.
Plant a garden of wildflowers. Barbeque in the snow.
Wear rhinestone sunglasses.
Kiss a lot
love tremendously,
appreciate today &
be excited for tomorrow.
