Meet my Travel Buddy, Carmen!

Carmen & I have been friends since we were 17 years old...She shares an unquenchable thirst for traveling like I do! We were brought together as kids during the 1990 Rose Festival. I was representing Madison High School (GO Senators!) and Carmen from Marshall High. The years took us on separate tracks but we found one another again when I stumbled into her boutique one afternoon about 7 years ago. It's like no time had passed! Our friendship resumed and plans were set in motion. We traveled to Mexico, then to Mexico again, then to Peru, now to the corners of SE Asia! Around the world is next.
Carmen is one of my most favorite people and an invaluable friend to me. We joke that we really only catch up with one another when we're on the road! One of the greatest lessons that I've learned from my friend Carmen is the value of a thank you note...don't skimp on the thank you's! You can never express too much gratitude...
