Been a Long Time.....

Well, so much for keeping up to speed on the ole Blog! Today is Saturday the 16th of January ALREADY....where, oh where has the time gone?

I'm in Chiang Mai, Thailand at a retreat-Carmen is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia @ a wedding and joins me & my mom at the retreat on Monday. We have a "day off" on Wednesday so am planning on doing some catching up then.

I have been in Vietnam since Dec. 26th and that was the beginning of the communication breakdown. Facebook is blocked almost everywhere throughout Vietnam so I never uploaded any pics and I didn't blog. I was truly tech-free. Saigon, Hoi An, Hanoi & Halong Bay were my destinations....all a major education. Mixed emotions and complicated experiences. I split ways with Carmen on Jan. 1 to meet my mom in Saigon and Carmen's beau, Anand arrived on NYE...they currently are on their own journey throughout SE Asia. Our friends Risa & Brent also joined us for a few days in Hoi An. It was awesome to have the P-town crew together again, ringing in the New Year, Vietnam style! Sparklers & squid & spicy sauce began 2010 for us...believe it or not!
