One Night in Bangkok...

It only took us 18.5 hours of fly time & 2 time zones to jet set through but we made it! Here in Bangkok we are chillin' at the oasis of our friend, Aaron (check out his website! www.maushole.com if you need a kick ass DJ, this is your guy. Has music, will travel!) & his gal Rebecca, who's a first grade teacher @ the International School. Gracious hosts with a sweet pad on the skirts of the chaos of what is a 10 million person populated city. Today is the King's birthday so we're about to embark on an adventure amidst the celebration. What a time to be here! We're off to explore the city via boat, check out the markets & enjoy some new cuisine. Oh, and yes, we've already experienced our first Thai massage. Yowza. 2 hours, $8. Three of us in one room, in assigned PJ's, side by side and never quite knowing what is next . YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON CARMEN'S FACE during one of the Thai moves. I fondly call it "Bird in Flight". She was on her tummy, with this miniature Thai lady, pulling Carmen's arms so far behind her, I thought her eyeballs were gonna pop out of her head. I don't think any of us thought our bodies were capable of such positions! The first of many...
